God’s peace be and abide with you and with all those whom you are called to serve and care for, all the more so in these challenging and difficult days.
We write, first of all, to thank you for your faithful and steadfast service, and to encourage you that your labors in the Lord are not in vain. Not only do we rejoice that it is precisely by way of the Cross that God reveals and gives Himself to us and accomplishes His purposes among us, but we also rest ourselves in the confidence that He does indeed cause all things to work together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
Queridos hermanos en Cristo:
Que la paz de Dios permanezca y permanezca con vosotros y con todos aquellos a quienes estáis llamados a servir y cuidar, con mayor razón en estos días difíciles y difíciles.
Les escribimos, en primer lugar, para agradecerles por su fiel y constante servicio, y para animarlos a que sus labores en el Señor no sean en vano. God’s mercy is one of the most powerful and comforting truths in Scripture. It’s His compassion toward us, even when we don’t deserve it. Mercy is what holds back the punishment we rightfully earned and instead offers us grace, love, and forgiveness.
Here are a few powerful verses on God’s mercy:

Lamentations 3:22-23 – “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Ephesians 2:4-5 – “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ...”

Psalm 103:8 – “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.”
